The green PE that we have chosen for these bottles is a polyethylene in which the ethylene is not of fossil origin but renewable.
In fact, the polymer is obtained through the processing of sugar cane, a renewable raw material that grows in a short and predictable period of time (thanks to seasonal cyclicality). Plastics of plant origin are defined as biobased.
This is not a biodegradable material but a material that can be recycled through the normal plastic recovery stream.
